Radon Testing
Radon is an odorless and invisible radioactive gas naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. Radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the US and can be found in almost any home. For this reason, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Surgeon General strongly recommend ALL homes have an indoor radon test prior to purchase. The EPA recommends remediation if levels are elevated above 4 picocuries/liter (pCi/L) of radon in the air. Testing your home is the only way to determine if you are at risk of high radon exposure. I am a trained radon measurement professional, certified with the NRPP and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). I use the most advanced Radon monitors available. My equipment will deliver fast and accurate results to ensure that your home is safe or if radon remediation is necessary.
